“swords into ploughs” – Zen

Don’t think what your mental disability is doing to you, think what your mental disability can do for you.

ZEN STEP THREE

*

Manners are everything, without manners, you will go nowhere.

Through manners, you will see the true nature of a person. If their manners don’t match their actions then you have found a thief. The thief of your dignity. From here they can steal everything.

The highest manners talk about ideas. The lowest manners talk about you.

When sitting down to a meal of wisdom, order just the right amount. How you feel in the company you share your meal with will either leave you begging for more, satisfied or feeling sick. If you are feeling sick, try another restaurant.

RE: Step 1.

When dining, do not order the humpbacked whale when you already have one unfinished, they’re endangered. The people you are dining with have one each too.

The world is only so big, there only so many restaurants and only so many dishes. At some point, you have to eat, you may as well enjoy it.

*

The bestowers of wisdom you need can be found everywhere. It is the ones that show you they have wisdom that you can trust. To be sure, use the wisdom carefully and the truth will be in the result, self-evident.

*

Don’t lose sight of your goal, by aiming for a treatment. Your goal is as simple as removing the ‘dis’ from disabled.
